Wellness Center Services
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy, talking therapy, can help you to connect back home to yourself, your authenticity, your truth, and your curiosity generating long-term growth, wellness, and recovery.
By truly being with and expressing how you feel, our psychotherapists create a container for you to gain insight into your emotions and experiences, understand the issues that lay behind them, and form new ways of thinking about those challenges.

Yoga
Yoga is an integrative practice that supports the physical body, the emotional body, and the spiritual body.
It works to unify breath, body, mind, and spirit through physical postures, breath practices, philosophy, and meditation.
At Body Positive Works, our yoga classes are designed to support your individual journey in a safe and nurturing environment, honoring the ancient practices of yoga and offering a tailored experience to everyone who walks through our doors.
We believe that healing, growth, non-judgment, self-love, and acceptance can all be supported within the practice of yoga.
Nutrition
At Body Positive Works, we believe that nutrition is about nourishment on every level, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
This is why our nutritionists and dieticians take an integrative weight-neutral and health-centered approach that encourages self-love, self-care, and self-acceptance.
By addressing the mind and heart issues behind your relationship with food, our holistic nutritionists will help you to cope with and navigate your emotional eating, overeating, binging, and/or food restricting.
We fully support you on your journey toward self-discovery and wholeness, generating deep-rooted change.
Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy
Horses have a unique sensitivity to human feelings, mirroring our emotions and body language, allowing us to learn about ourselves through them.
Equine-assisted psychotherapy is a ground-based collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with clients and horses to support anxiety, depression, and personal growth. By being present with horses, we can increase our self-awareness of both our inner and outer worlds.

Meditation + Sound Healing
Meditation and sound healing are techniques used to cultivate an experience of deep inner listening, compassion, and clarity of mind and heart, supporting overall wellbeing.
Through both our meditation classes and sound healing sessions, you learn to witness thoughts and emotions without judgment, journeying back to your authenticity.
Quieting the mind and returning to a natural state of peace, our guided meditation classes will help you to decrease stress and anxiety, create distance before reacting, and understand your experiences with greater openness and compassion.

We offer educational programs for administration, coaches, nurses, parents, students, teachers, and the community at large.
By integrating academic, holistic, and therapeutic concepts and practices, our workshops educate on both an intellectual and emotional level.
Our programming is centered around our areas of expertise and can be tailor-made for the particular needs of the group, school, and school district.

Reiki
Reiki helps to bring the body, mind, and spirit back into alignment, into its natural state of balance.
A gentle, light-touch, or hands-off treatment, reiki accelerates the body’s innate relaxation response, healing on all levels, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
Supporting the reduction of anxiety, stress, depression, insomnia, and pain, our reiki therapy encourages the release of addictions, habitual patterns, and self-limiting beliefs, while also promoting feelings of calm, self-awareness, self-empowerment, and tranquility of body and mind.
Massage
Emotional, mental, and physical pain are all stored in our bodies, creating energetic blockages.

Ayurveda
Ayurveda, the oldest practiced system of self-care and self-healing, helps to restore and maintain balance and harmony within your mind, body, and spirit.
Bringing you back into alignment, an ayurvedic diet can help soothe overwhelming thoughts and experiences.
The holistic healing system supports concentration, memory, energy levels, emotional intelligence, while also encouraging a connection and trust with your inner wisdom.
EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques is an evidence based practice that calms the nervous system. It allows us to turn off the fear-based, flight/flight/freeze response, rewiring our brain and how we react to our environment.
At Body Positive Works our clinical EFT Practitioner will empower you to gently move through trauma and integrate it with compassion in a safe and productive way.
EFT works with any mental, physical symptom or issue that triggers stress and is also an effective tool for personal, professional, emotional or relational blocks. Our EFT Practitioner will support you in cultivating peace, trust, and clarity by releasing the root causes of anxious thinking and limiting beliefs.
Pilates
Our Stott Pilates mat classes and Stott Reformer classes are a modernized form of pilates used to strengthen muscles, as well as improve posture, flexibility, concentration, stress management, and body awareness.
