Joy Mino
A fully certified Stott Pilates instructor for the past 17 years, Joy received her training at Pilates on Fifth in NYC. She teaches Pilates Mat and group Reformer classes, as well as does private equipment training with her clients.
Starting her fitness career as a group fitness instructor in 1997, she has continued her studies to include Total Barre and TRX Suspension Training, as well as Pilates for Injuries and Special Populations. As her clients have gotten older, she realized a need for more in-depth training with osteoporosis. Working with Dr. Meredith Stephens of Anatomy Trains, she completed Understanding and Working with Osteoporosis.
With a deep respect for the body and an emphasis on form and alignment, she provides her clients with tools to increase range of motion, flexibility, strength, and spinal mobility. Her ultimate goal is for her clients to take that knowledge and body awareness and utilize it in their everyday activities.
