About Carleen Implicito

Carleen Implicito is a licensed acupuncturist in New Jersey and New York, nationally board certified by the NCCAOM. She earned her graduate degree in acupuncture from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montclair, New Jersey, where she delved into the profound understanding that acupuncture not only addresses contemporary ailments and injuries but also bolsters the body’s recuperative abilities, immunity, and mental-emotional equilibrium.

At the heart of Carleen’s practice is the belief that acupuncture delves into the root of ailments, promoting holistic health by harmonizing the body’s energies. She views the mind, body, and spirit as integral components of an interconnected system, addressing not only physical symptoms but also nurturing mental clarity and spiritual well-being.

Carleen is deeply committed to patient education and empowerment. With an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Purdue University, she brings a wealth of experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, and musculoskeletal injuries, enriching her practice with a profound understanding of anatomy and physiology.

Her overarching goal is to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western medical approaches. With eight years of experience as an acupuncturist and as a Functional Nutrition Informed Professional, Carleen has successfully helped patients navigate a myriad of health challenges, restoring balance and vitality to their lives.
