🌳 Forest Bathing at Body Positive Works

Share in an immersive nature experience while practicing mindfulness and gratitude in the outdoors. Learn about nature’s healing powers and how to access them to promote mental and physical well-being.

This workshop-style session teaches participants about the nature-based practice of Forest Bathing and how they can apply it to their lives. Discover how to offset anxiety and depression, promote mental clarity, boost mood, spark curiosity, and regulate the nervous system. The experience includes moments for bonding, sharing, and creativity.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Mini-Retreat at Body Positive Works: “You Are Awesome, Just As You Are!”

Kick off the Girl Scout year with a focus on self-love and acceptance! This inclusive and body-positive yoga mini-retreat is a safe space where all bodies are welcome.

Led by our empowering and experienced instructors, this session includes:

  • Group discussions on body positivity and self-acceptance

  • Mindfulness practices like breathing and meditation to boost confidence

  • Yoga poses that honor inner strength, resilience, and uniqueness

  • A relaxing crystal bowl sound meditation experience

Explore the world of horses and learn valuable lessons in empathy and perspective.

This program focuses on ground-based interaction with horses and miniature horses, using observation, discussion, and team-building activities to:

  • Develop empathy and respect for others’ perspectives

  • Connect personal experiences to the interactions observed between horses
