We offer Life & Grief Coaching at the Body Positive Works to help people deal with difficult situations that naturally arise throughout one’s lifetime. Whether you feel “stuck” or you are dealing with grief, our Life & Grief Coach Eileen Alexander can work with you one on one in a session that is tailored to your individual needs.
Eileen offers her personal experience together with the many tools that have supported her in changing her perspective and finding comfort, hope and happiness. These tools include conversation, various spiritual processes designed to open you to a new perspective, and optional modalities such as meditation, Reiki, and yoga.
Do you feel “stuck” in any area of your life? Often we find ourselves repeating unwanted patterns and self-defeating behaviors with regards to our physical, emotional or spiritual well-being, our personal and/or work relationships, our finances, and/or other areas of our lives. We stay in a job that leaves us feeling drained and unfulfilled because it is safe. We stay in a relationship (or out of one) because we are afraid to change our circumstances. We don’t take risks because of false limiting beliefs – such as “I’m too old” or “i couldn’t earn a living doing that.” Eileen can help you identify and pursue your passion by coaching you through the steps necessary to move past the blocks and limiting beliefs that stand in your way!
People will experience many types of grief throughout their lifetime. When we hear the word grief, we almost immediately think of death or ilness, but one can also experience grief as a result of divorce, addiction, “empty nest” syndrome, loss of a job, the natural aging process, or even a move. In our culture, it’s actually hard to know how to grieve. There are so many rules…like how long a grieving period is supposed to be, what situations justify grief and even when and where you are allowed to cry. Having experience many of these life situations firsthand, Eileen can help guide you through a healthy grieving process.
Eileen is a certified Life and Grief Coach, as well as a certified Reiki Master Teacher and Meditation and Yoga Teacher. She is also a trained Grief Group Facilitator and Hospice volunteer.
