Kundalini Yoga was designed for people who want to relax, energize, and uplift themselves in a way that fits the busy lives most of us lead. Kundalini yoga, which includes many of the same postures found in Hatha yoga, gives a good challenge, yet is very doable for the average person. The positive effects of Kundalini yoga can be experienced in a matter of minutes. It consists of both held and moving postures coordinated with strong breathing patterns.
Shakta is best known as the founder of Radiant Child Yoga, and she also specializes in yoga for women. She has been practicing and teaching Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1976. She is an E-RYT 500, and author of several best-selling yoga books for adults and children, including Kundalini Yoga, and Yoga for Women. Shakta was named in the top five Kundalini Teachers in Yoga Journal’s Who’s Who.
